The English national football team represents England in international football and is controlled by The Football Association; the governing body for football in England. The English national team during this period moved in a rough road to their success. England team is in top 20 countries. They could not achieve success. They played through to the quarter finals. They failed to qualify for the 1994 World Cup but achieved the semi-finals in Euro 96 and lost on penalties to Germany at the semi-finals. In 1998 they were automatically qualified. The domination was marked with little success, with England failing to qualify for the 2008 European Championships. 2010 sees the FIFA World Cup, get ready for the biggest sporting event and hopefully enjoy!
