Every soccer coach wants their health to be very good to perform on the field, but not everyone has enough time to get in proper work outs and make sure this is possible. This is one of the reasons that this ten thousand step system has become famous. The ten thousand step system will depend on the idea that walking ten thousand steps every day can help you get healthy-that it helps cut down on the amount of time you need to spend at the gym. Walking is really a amazing and low impacting exercise. How often have you over heard “if he’d merely taken a walk around the block now and then?” And, just imagine being fit, so you can properly teach your players how to pass a soccer ball .
Obviously, this won’t be simple to take ten thousand steps every single day. That’s a whole lot! Thankfully, you’re likely taking quite a lot of steps everyday and just don’t know it. What you need to do is figure out how to include a few more thousand steps to get to the goal. So how do you do that without feeling like you’re wasting half of your time walking around?
There are a lot of totally obvious things that can be done to take more steps. Use the stairs instead of the elevator–that’s pretty basic. When you go to the store or the mall park further from the entrance. Keep your vehicle in one spot and walk your bags and boxes out to the car as soon as you finish shopping in each store instead of just carrying more and more things with you as you run your errands and go shopping. Taking public transit can raise your step count as you will have to walk to your bus or train stop and then back home instead of just walking to your car. Obviously, just simply choosing a short walk each day is also wise.
There may also be some less apparent ways to increase the amount of steps you take each day. Write the grocery shopping list in a different order. Plenty of people set up lists by the aisles in their favorite stores. You may choose to order your list according to category just like meat, product and dairy. Simply buy along the list from here. You could end up criss crossing the store a few times but it’s a wonderful way to raise your step count. Instead of placing your mailbox in your front door or installing it in a wall of your house, put it out by the curb on a post. This may put at least one or two dozen steps to your count when you check the mail each day.
Increasing your step count can be done in lots of ways. As you become familiar with the idea of walking 10,000 steps a day you’ll think of fantastic ways to get to this goal faster. Thankfully, every step you take–whether it’s walking to the refrigerator or going for walks on a treadmill, counts toward your end step count goal. Have fun using this!
