Coerver Coaching DVD’s have tradionally focussed on helping coaches inprove the technical skills of players. Now a new series called “Improve Your Game” has been released that focusses on parents and players, so that you can learn and practise the skills in your own back yard . In fact I have practised some of the drills with my son some in our house (we were very careful obviously).

Skills
Good technical skill in soccer forms the foundation for all great players.. All good soccer players have excellent soccer skills. This includes ball control, getting past a defender by feinting or a quick change of direction or by a deft change of pace to elude the defender. Strength
Strength in soccer is an extremely important asset for every soccer player. All soccer players should try to ensure that they have good strength, to shield the ball and fend off the opposition. The DVD’s show a number of exercises to help with flexibility, strength, as well as improving speed and stamina.
Science
Most soccer DVD’s tend to concentrate purely on soccer drills. The improve your game DVD’s differ from them by having a science component. All great players have outstanding ball control and technique The Coerver drills ensure that players get hundreds of ball touches.. I have been coaching since 1999 and have used Coerver in every training session. Ihave included a link to a web page that shows the results that I achieved using Coerver. It is important to note that repetition is the key to success, and it is vital that players practice these drills every day.
When you see the results that I had (see below), you will see that I did have success with the players that I coached and I can confidently say that Coerver was the backbone to the players technical ability. Simply said, if you want to be a good soccer player, make sure you use the Coerver DVD’s for coaching Soccer Drills
