In this post I create regarding the England and Real Madrid footballer David Beckham. Beckham no doubt is wanting ahead to leading England at the forthcoming Fifa World Cup of football and victory would provide that final acolade to what has been a very successful career.

David Beckham was born around the London area of England and as a child soon developed a passion for playing football. His dad would take him to the local park to practice his skills including how to trap and control a ball. He would at times kick it up in the air as high as he could and would then ask David to attempt to control it as it came back down towards the ground. Young Beckham would also practice the art of scoring a goal from the other half of the pitch. This is a particular skill which is very hard to perfect. Years later when he played a famous game at Wimbledon, he scored such a goal which highlighted his talent and put him on the football map.

Beckham was soon spotted as a youngster by a variety of clubs but decided to join Manchester United. He still remains a staunch United supporter despite moving to play for Madrid and admits that he is still hurt by the way Alex Ferguson hounded him out of the club. David always believed that he would end his career at Manchester but this was not to be. He is now very happy at Real Madrid and the supporters have really taken to him. Despite a lack of silverware at his new club, Beckham has used his kind and has been among the most in line with performers in the team.

David Beckhams worldwide career for England has been some which of a combined bag. No England supporter can ever before mostly forget the moment once he was despatched off against our excellent rivals Argentina, 8 years ago at the World Cup. It is a minute of insanity which I am certain he should view as his biggest mistake in football. Like a lot of people in England reacted to this mistake was far too over the top and entirely out of order. A less man may possess also stop the sport beneath the big amount of pressure and the continual maltreatment from supporters up and lower the country.

Doing so however is not Beckhams fashion and he came back fighting. His overall performance in the last organization team being approved game against Greece was absolutely nothing short of sensational and the organic kick he scored in the final times was among the best I have ever before seen. In the world Cup itself 4 many years ago, England a second time were picked to master Argentina. Through the match these folks have been chosen as a penalty that David stepped till take. My heart was in my mouth and I was willing the ball in for him and our proud nation. The pressure he have to of sensed may have been immense but he kept his amazing and slotted the golf ball into the again of the net.

I truly desire that Beckham can captain England to go all the way to win the 2006 Fifa Industry Cup as in my opinion he in fact deserves it.

As always, the Barclays premier league is proving to be as exciting as ever, with all ups and downs this season.Tickets are sold out as soon as they are put on the market for big matches like Manchester united, Arsenal and Liverpool. The Premier League generally attracts huge sponsorships,  raises the international reputation of English football, and is a very successful tournament.

The Premier League was formed in 1992 when the top clubs in the Football League decided to break away from the 1st division to form their own league. In the 80’s, English football was going through some tough times owing to lack of investment in facilities, and aggression. To add fuel to the fire, riots by English fans resulted in 39 deaths in a tragic event at Heysel stadium, resulting in English teams being banned from European competitions.English clubs also had to radically restructure their grounds, making them all-seater venues, following the Hillsborough tragedy.

The top ten clubs, suffering from the costs of these changes, formed the Premier Leagure and sold the TV rights to Sky.The new league was very popular, despite fans having to pay to watch their teams on TV, and the move created enormous wealth.Big name sponsors such as Carling, Barclaycard and now Barclays Bank have been attracted to the competition.

Having broken away to make more money as valuable commodities, the Premier League clubs are now criticised for spending so much on their players.Being able to compete on a global scale, paying high wages and transferring players for enormous sums is an expensive business.Finance is a factor where several clubs have struggles and in February 2010, Portsmouth went into administration.Along with Hull City and Burnley, they were demoted.

Since its formation in 1992, the most successful club in the Premier League has been Manchester United under the management of Sir Alex Ferguson. They have won it 11 times and have never finished the season in less than third place.Last season saw a dramatic finale where Chelsea beat them.

Chelsea is now under the spotlight defending the championship against all old competitors. There is bound to be a great demand for tickets of Chelsea vs Manchester United. The tournament is at an early stage and much could happen as everything is at stake. The entertainment value of the Premier League provides excitement, heated discussions and high emotions for months on end.The antics of the players and managers, both on and off the pitch, keep everyone entertained.

But nothing can beat the thrill of being at a world class Premier League match, watching the best teams, like Chelsea, Arsenal, Man Utd and Liverpool, demonstrating the art of the beautiful game.Make sure you don’t miss out on tickets to big matches such as Manchester United vs Chelsea or Liverpool vs Arsenal.

The 2010/11 English Premier League football season officially kicked off on Sunday with Manchester United grabbing the first available piece of silverware on offer by beating Chelsea 3-1 at Wembley for the FA Charity Shield. A disappointing result for fans used to Chelsea football gifts of two trophies last season.

The football match started with a fast pace as both sides went out to win. We saw early chances come and go with no goals resulting. Paul Scholes may be getting old but he enjoyed a man of the match performance as he controlled the midfield and continually picked out passes with accuracy and preciseness. Manchester United gifts used the full width of the pitch through Antonio Valencia in attack while Chelsea’s Michael Essien and Florent Malouda were largely responsible for(p) for their positive forward moves.

Goals from Ecuadorian Antonio Valencia (41), Mexican Javier Hernandez (76) and Bulgarian Dimitar Berbatov (90) secured the Community Shield for Sir Alex Ferguson’s Manchester side, in front of 84,623 fans, with Chelsea getting a consolation goal scored by Ivory Coast forward Salomon Kalou. The Chelsea football score was disappointing.

A lot of substitutions were used throughout the match and Manchester fans got to see Javier ‘Chicharito’ Hernandez make his competitive debut and score a quite incredible goal that actually went off his face and in. It is a goal worth watching in slow motion, you don’t often see a goal “faced” in.

It was noticeable that from the beginning of the match large sections of fans from both sides were booing the England players when they touched the ball. The idea of Chelsea and Manchester United fans specifically targeting only England players with booing again brings the club v country debate to the forefront of football.  First it was Ashley Cole, then John Terry, Wayne Rooney and even Fabio Capello as the crowd let the underachieving players who failed to show their England  gifts know exactly how they felt concerning England’s poor World Cup display over the summer. The lackluster effort from the fans in their displays of disapproval were ultimately washed out by a sort of ‘call and response’ cheering from the opposition fans. When United would boo, Chelsea would cheer. The gesture, although passionate and honest, was a waste of time and had little lasting effect on the game itself as it progressed. All England football fans were pretty miffed by the players poor performance at the world cup, but I am not sure that the way to express this is by booing them at a club match, particularly as there is an international friendly against Hungary coming up to boo them at.

The Manchester Utd striker is closing in on Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo in the March 2010 Castrol Rankings.

Castrol has applied the same expertise they apply to the development of their oils to create the Castrol Rankings – using objective analysis and highly advanced technology to measure every pass, every tackle and every single move of over 2,000 players and games from Europe’s top five leagues over the last 12 months.

That analysis shows that Barcelona striker Lionel Messi has retained his place at the head of the Castrol Rankings for the third successive month and extended his lead over Cristiano Ronaldo who sits in second place.

Wayne Rooney, though, has been in brilliant form with his performances this season prompting club manager Sir Alex Ferguson to declare that his player is now ready to be compared alongside Messi and Ronaldo as one of the world’s top players.

Castrol Performance Analysis supports Ferguson’s view and shows that Rooney was the outstanding player overall in March, earning an average of 1525 Castrol Rankings points per game, which explains the forward’s rise from eighth to third in the rankings.

Rooney scored six goals in four games during March, including his strike after just 63 seconds against Bayern Munich, the fastest goal in the Champions League this season. He has been involved in 37% of United’s league and Champions League goals during the same period,, scoring 35 and providing nine assists.

Wayne Rooney has scored 29 goals in 36 Premier League games over the last 12 months, more than any other player.

Castrol Ambassador and 1998 FIFA World Cup™ winner Marcel Desailly said: “Rooney is 24 now and while he is not yet at his peak, his game has matured rapidly over the last the 12 months and he is now a genuine world class player.

“It’s wrong to say Manchester United are a one-man team, but Rooney has been so dominant this season that the other attacking players have inevitably played a more supporting role.

“Rooney may not have the trickery of Ronaldo and Messi – although he is extremely skilful with the ball at his feet – but in terms of his all round game, it’s hard to pick out a single weakness. The biggest difference this season has been his goalscoring, particularly with his head, and he is close to becoming the complete centre forward.

“With some players, you always wonder whether they will fulfil their potential. That has never been an issue with Rooney who has great mental strength and determination and is committed to improving his game.”

Messi, though, remains the man to catch. Last month the Argentine scored 10 goals in seven games, including back-to-back hat-tricks in La Liga. In the 12 months to 31st March 2010, he has scored 29 goals in 32 league games, while also firing in 76 shots on target, a league-high. His 131 successful dribbles is also a La Liga record over the last year.
Inter Milan striker Samuel Eto’o continues to fall down the Castrol Rankings, this month dropping 80 places to 146th.

Eto’o lays sixth in the September 2009 rankings but the forward has scored just once every 197 minutes since joining Inter last summer, compared to a rate of one every 98 minutes with Barcelona last season.

Real Madrid winger Ronaldo remains close on the heels of his Barcelona rival and has the best minutes-to-goal ratio in the Champions League over the last 12 months, scoring, on average, every 90 minutes.

The biggest mover into the top ten is Ronaldo’s club-mate Gonzalo Higuain, who has risen 10 places, from 14th to 4th. The striker is the top scorer in La Liga over the last 12 months with 30 goals in only 33 appearances and is the most clinical finisher in Europe, scoring with 34% of his shots.

Higuain is expected to lead Argentina’s attack in South Africa at the 2010 FIFA World Cup™ and another South American, Lucas Barrios, has also made a big move, this time into the top 50. The Borussia Dortmund striker has risen 215 places to 34th after impressing during his first season in the Bundesliga with 15 goals.

Edwin van der Sar remains the top ranked goalkeeper in 15th position. The Manchester United man kept four clean sheets in March and has saved 79% of shots over the last 12 months in the Premier League, a league-high.

Manchester United and England received a boost from Rio Ferdinand  after he came through after 27 minute of Tony Carr’s testimonial match at Upton Park.

Ferdinand has had issues with back and groin problems this season, which have only allowed  him to play in just 11 Premier League starts for United. The England captain made his return after three weeks on the bench as a late substitute in last weekend’s victory over Sunderland.
